Frequently asked questions
Does the European Accessibility Act really apply to me?
If you sell digital products or services to consumers in the EU, yes, from June 28, 2025 you're subject to it. Penalties vary by Member State but can reach €40,000 per violation in Italy. Micro-enterprises under 10 employees and €2M revenue are excluded from some obligations, but not all.
What compliance level do you test?
We test WCAG 2.2 level AA, the standard required by EAA and most national regulations. On request we can extend to level AAA for public administration sites.
Is the report understandable for non-technical readers?
Yes. We produce a dual report, executive for management (status, risks, strategic priorities, estimated costs) and technical for developers (WCAG references, example code, operational checklist). The two documents are designed for different readers.
After the audit, what about fix implementation?
The audit doesn't include fixes. Your dev team can follow the report, or request a Sprint Blend (fixed price, 2-4 weeks) to implement priority fixes. For Care Blend clients, many fixes fit within the monthly intervention budget.
How do you verify dynamic interfaces (modals, dropdowns, etc.)?
Real manual testing with keyboard and screen reader on critical interactive components. Automated scanners catch only 30% of accessibility issues, the rest only emerges via human testing, which is the core of our method.
Does the Signature package include follow-up after fixes?
Yes. Signature includes a post-fix verification on critical bugs, we check that the fixes implemented by your team actually resolved the issues flagged as blocking. Not a full new audit, but a targeted check.
